Fourth Masterclass in Health Economics at UCC

One of the greatest part of a Doctoral Networks MSCA project is the special focus that we put on the training program for our DCs. For all the DCs are foreseen online courses, local training activities, participation in conferences abroad, secondments, summer schools, annual meetings and so much more activities that we will share with you all in the News section.

Fourth Masterclass in Health Economics

Claire, our DC7 at UCC – University College Cork, took part in the Fourth Masterclass in Health Economics. The event, organized by CUBS- Cork University Business School, was held between the 19th to the 21st of March 2024. The masterclass brought together early stage as well as senior researchers in an engaging conversation around the role of health economics in today’s health care provision.
Claire mentioned that for her it was “a privilege and a delight to not only attend talks (including on health economics and genetics) and panels (such as Women in Health Economics and Meet the Editors)  led by internationally-renowned researchers but also connect with fellow participants from around the world”.
Find here the press release with more information about the program as well as Aileen Murhpy’s intervention on the event, Claire’s PI.
